What is man that You take thought of him,..

His. His plan. His Will. His Word. His Stripes. His Blood. His Cross. His Death. His Resurrection. His Ascension. His Holiness. His Righteousness. His Power. His Presence. His Mercy. His Grace. His Compassion. His Spirit. His Salvation. His Name.

Everything about my life should be about Jesus. I am nothing without Him. My knowledge does not compare to His. My works are inadequate compared to His. My skills, talents and gifts cannot stand in the same room as His. Jesus. The beginning and the end, the Creator of all things and the one who controls all things; He sets up kings and takes them down, decides the colors of the sky each day, tells the winds to blow or stay calm and causes the seasons to change at His desire. He sets the time clock for every person’s life on this earth.

How could I ever stand with any arrogance, pride or haughtiness? To be able to stand in His presence, to be able to feel His presence, to be allowed to worship His name. Lord forgive me if I have ever failed to acknowledge that you are my everything, failed to worship you because I was upset, angry or hurt. Forgive me if I have ever felt self righteous, been arrogant or haughty. Forgive me if I have ever failed to surrender my will when you have spoke to my heart. Forgive me if I have ever shown up late to church, failed to raise my hands in worship, clap my hands for joy. It is an honor to be in your presence and be called your child.
